Play Time and Bath Time

Day 6 and Keegan is doing GREAT.  We had a follow up appointment at Kapiolani yesterday and all is well.  Besides that we're just hanging around the house getting to know our son.

Below is a picture of Keegan enjoying a ride in his new swing
from his Uncle Sombo, Anutie Jen and Cousin Kiana.

BATH TIME.
We can't give him a real bath until his belly button heals up completely, so for now he's enjoying sponge baths.

Brad has been a wonderful father and husband (of course)! He burps Keegan after each feeding and has been on diaper duty since he was born. When Brad goes back to work, I'll have to take a refresher course on how to change diapers! Brad has also taken it upon himself to keep our home tidy, doing laundry, dishes and cooking since I was busy nursing every one to three hours around the clock! Thank the lord he's been around and not deployed! Yay Brad!

Now let's go back in time a bit...
Here is Brad practicing for diaper duty at the Infant Care Class we took:

Look at how tiny Keegan is with his face next to Brad's thumb...
The father son talks begin...
"Yeah, uh-huh Dad but...
...I'm hungry".
Back at home:
The ultimate fencing pose...
Look at his tiny little feet...
